Couple of Stairs / Pár schodů

There are three kinds of street shots. One, quick and impulsive momentary snapshots. That is rare. Two, waiting at an interesting scene or place till it couples with some interesting occurrence. Probably the most common. Three, seeing a scene from afar that is waiting for you there till you arrive, ready for capture.

This was the number-three-kind-of-shot. I saw them up the stairs on the bridge. Slowly approaching the stairs I prepared the focal length and aperture.

They saw me. The guy immediately knew my intention and as I bowed before them to position for a low angle shot, he just smiled. Her gaze and expression did not change a bit. As if she did not notice me at all.

Guesing from her face, she definitely was not in the mood... that day.

Jsou tři druhy pouličních snímků. První, rychlé a impulsivní momentky. Ty jsou vzácné. Druhý, z čekání u zajímavé scény dokud není vyplněna nějakou zajímavým jevem. Ty jsou pravděpodobně nejčastější. Třetí, zahlédnete zdálky scénu, která na vás počká, dokud nedorazíte, připraveni k jejímu zachycení,

Tohle je snímek třetího druhu. Viděl jsem je nahoře na schodech na mostě. Jak jsem se pomalu blížil, připravil jsem si ohnisko a clonu.

Viděli mne. Chlápek okamžitě uhodl můj záměr a když jsem se před nimi sehnul, k záběru z nízkého úhlu, prostě se usmál. Její upřený pohled, ani výraz se ani trochu nezměnil. Jako kdyby si mne vůbec nevšimla.

Hádaje z její tváře, rozhodně neměla náladu... toho dne.
